David B Loucks

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Third500 LLC Director, Third500 Pte Ltd

David Loucks is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Third500 (formerly known as Healthios). Throughout his career, Mr. Loucks has been an advisor, financier, and general manager throughout the healthcare industry, in the process nurturing an experienced perspective on capital markets, development cycles, and value creation. Prior to founding Healthios, Mr. Loucks was the Founder and Managing Partner of the Aethena Group, LLC, a private equity partnership with a broad portfolio of investment interests. From 1998 until 2001, Mr. Loucks served as President and CEO of Physician Dynamics, Inc. (“PDI”), a fully integrated provider of technology-enabled care management solutions for patients afflicted with chronic and acute diseases. Services comprising patient and family education, compliance management, utilization review, outcomes measurement, informed consent, mobile health, and remote monitoring were sold to hospitals, health plans, and providers throughout the U.S. In September 2000, PDI was sold to Landacor, a publicly-traded healthcare information technology company.

Prior to Physician Dynamics, from 1994 to 1998, Mr. Loucks was a Vice President at Robertson, Stephens & Company, a global investment banking firm. Among his duties at Robertson Stephens, Mr. Loucks was a founder of the Special Situations practice and directed the firm’s first international financing initiatives for companies based in Europe, Israel, India, and China. Mr. Loucks holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Northwestern. As a rower, Mr. Loucks is a former National Champion.

Frederick Reichenbach

Managing Member, Third500 LLC Director, Third500 Pte Ltd.

Frederick Reichenbach has been a Managing Member of Third500 since the firm’s founding. Under his leadership, Third500 has completed over 50 transactions including M&A, strategic partnering, and capital raising. His clients have included entities in the US, India, UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, and Singapore. In addition to actively advising clients, Mr. Reichenbach is also deeply involved in the management of the firm. He is qualified as a principal of the firm under FINRA regulations and supervises the activities of other investment bankers. Mr. Reichenbach also oversees administrative functions of the firm including compliance, accounting, and human resources.

Prior to his role at Third500, from 2002 to 2005, Mr. Reichenbach was a Vice President at the Aethena Group, LLC (“Aethena”), a consulting and strategic advisory firm focusing on the healthcare sector. As an executive at Aethena, Mr. Reichenbach led advisory mandates for private equity firms in deals worth $5.3 billion in enterprise value, $3 billion of which were final binding bids in auctions.

Prior to joining Aethena, Mr. Reichenbach served as Chief Financial Officer for the Advanced Group of Companies, a healthcare-staffing firm, and InLight, Inc., a patient education and disease management company. Experiences included completing installing PeopleSoft HR and Finance, two capital financings amounting to $15 million and five M&A transactions representing aggregate transaction value in excess of $120 million.

Before that, Mr. Reichenbach was a Partner (among 8) in the London office of the Central Europe Trust (CET), a prominent advisory firm specializing in Central and Eastern Europe. CET operated under the Chairmanship of Nigel Lawson, Exchequer under Prime Minister Thatcher. During Mr. Reichenbach’s tenure, the firm generated $120 million in revenue, closed 50 significant M&A transactions, and raised and managed $400 million in private equity.

Mr. Reichenbach started his career at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). He graduated from Yale University with a BA in Economics and received an MM from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 1992.

W. Gregory Shearer

Managing Director

W. Gregory Shearer is a Managing Director at Third500, focusing on a wide range of M&A, financing and strategic advisory mandates in the orthopedics, respiratory, anesthesiology, and ophthalmology device sector and the healthcare services sector. He served as Managing Director or Vice President at Kidder Peabody (1983-1988), Bankers Trust (1988-1991), Vector Securities International, Inc., (1992-1996) and Jefferies & Co. (1996-1998). From 1998 to 2012, Mr. Shearer was a Founder and Principal of Channel Medical Partners, a late-stage venture firm investing in emerging growth medical technology companies. At these firms, Mr. Shearer provided leadership in over 150 transactions, which included mergers and acquisitions and private and public offerings of equity and debt.

Mr. Shearer has a BA from Centre College and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago.

Michael Justin Martinez

Investment Banking Analyst

Michael Justin Martinez is an investment banking analyst at Third500. Prior to Third500, Mr. Martinez was at the Yale Group, a boutique investment banking firm based in Denver, Colorado. He was involved in M&A, partnering, and financing transactions. Prior to the Yale Group, Mr. Martinez was an associate at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, working with clients to implement financial planning and optimize portfolio allocations.

Mr. Martinez holds a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in cell and tissue engineering. In addition, his primary research involved dynamic modeling of a wide variety of pharmaceutical mechanisms.

Andrew Hartley

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Hartley joined Third500 in July 2020, as Managing Director based in Singapore. Prior to this, he worked at CLSA for over 20 years holding a number of leadership roles within the Investment Bank.  In 2005, he was appointed CEO, CLSA Singapore Pte Ltd and CLSA Global Markets Pte Ltd and had fund directorship responsibilities within the group private equity business, CLSA Capital Partners, that manages $5b in assets. While in Singapore, he originated both public and private mandates, in the TMT and REIT sectors, raising over $1.5b in capital.

Initially joining CLSA in Hong Kong, he managed multiple Institutional client relationships along with the Global Institutional Client Management function providing Asia- Pacific coverage to pensions, sovereign wealth, hedge funds and family offices. In his final year with the firm, he was appointed to the Group Executive Committee and Group Head of Institutional Equities driving the Sales, Trading and Research departments prior to management integration with Citic Securities. For over 10 years, he was an active member of the SGX Securities Advisory Committee and in 2009 was a member of the MAS Capital Markets Committee. Prior to CLSA, he worked for DMR Consulting (now Fujitsu Consulting) and started his financial services career with Westpac Banking Corporation and holds a Diploma of Management from Deakin University, Australia. He is the co-founder of Singapore Asset Management Brokers Awards, a charitable non-profit organisation supporting charities across ASEAN.

Scott Duncan

Managing Director

Scott Duncan is Managing Director of Third500 based in Singapore. Mr. Duncan is responsible for the sell side of the business, predominantly to private banks, UHNWI’s and family offices. He has been based in Singapore for 26 years, primarily working in the private wealth management sector for banks such as Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, and J. Safra Sarasin, where he was Vice Chair. Mr. Duncan brings a wealth of Asian knowledge, experience, and client base to the team of Third500. He spent most of his youth travelling between Scotland, Canada, and Jersey in the Channel Islands, where he graduated from Highlands College as part of the Chartered Institute of Banking Program in Business and Finance.

Desmond Lee

Investment Banking Analyst

Desmond Lee is an investment banking analyst at Third500. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lee was an investment associate at CapBridge, a fintech startup based in Singapore, where he was responsible for the preparation of issuer pitch decks and analysis, and the on-boarding of private companies seeking to raise capital via the syndication platform. During his internship at KPMG, as an Audit Analyst – Data Analytics, his scope of work included qualitative and quantitative analysis on various industries and relevant audit procedures.

Mr. Lee graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2016 with a BCom in Accounting and Finance. In 2018, he passed the CFA level I examination.

Janejira Phornprapha

President

Janejira Phornprapha is the President of Third500 (Thailand) Limited, where she manages the Bangkok office and supervises the activities of all the analysts. Ms. Phornprapha has extensive experience across all healthcare sectors as Vice President of Healthios, advising a diverse group of clients in M&A and capital raising transactions. Prior to joining Third500, Ms. Phornprapha was a credit analyst at UOB (Thailand), a subsidiary of the United Overseas Bank.

Ms. Phornprapha completed her MBA at the University of Notre Dame majoring in Finance and holds a BSc from Chulalongkorn University.

David Benkert

Associate

David Benkert is an investment banking analyst at Third500. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Benkert was an institutional equity sales at Finansia Syrus Securities, a leading local brokerage in Thailand, where he was responsible for in-bound equity flows for clients based in Singapore and Hong Kong, private funds, and index funds.

Mr. Benkert holds an MSc from Chulalongkorn University in 2019, a BBA from Mahidol University in 2014, and passed CFA Level I.

Nattasith Chulanond

Investment Banking Analyst

Nattasith Chulanond is an investment banking analyst at Third500. Before that, he was an intern at Bangkok Bank in the Student Internship Program 69 (SIP69), where he was the leader of a startup project competition and responsible for business model build-up, financial projections, marketing plans, suppliers and customers management, and technological integration.

Mr. Chulanond earned a BEc with first-class honors from Thammasat University in 2018 with a major in monetary economics and a minor in finance.

Narawich Losathitmonton

Investment Banking Analyst

Narawich Losathitmonton is an Investment Banking Analyst at Third500. Prior to joining Third500, He was a Summer Investment Banking Analyst at IFAC advisory where he helped senior investment bankers in financial analysis and market landscape research. He also won CFA Research Challenge Thailand 2021 – Second Runner-up Award, where he covered a second-largest oil retail company in Thailand.

Mr. Losathitmonton holds a B.A. in Business Administration majoring in Finance with second-class honors from Chulalongkorn University and B.A. in Business Administration (Exchange Program) from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business.

Trin Phanishsarn

Investment Banking Analyst

Trin Phanishsarn is an Investment Banking Analyst at Third500. Prior to joining the company, he accumulated corporate experience working for Agoda and Charoen Pokphand Group. Additionally, he participated in the CFA Research Challenge Competition where he and his team conducted equity research and financial modelling and pitched an investment thesis on a publicly listed healthcare company, finishing second runners-up in Thailand.


Mr. Phanishsarn earned a MiM from London Business School in 2021, a BEc with first-class honors from Thammasat University in 2019, and was also recognized on the Dean's Honor List whilst taking part in an Exchange Program at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2018.

Manisara Tantulawat

Office Manager

Manisara Tantulawat is an Office Manager at Third500 (Thailand). Prior to joining Third500, Ms. Tantulawat was a Chinese-Thai coordinator and translator at Winner Online, a well-known online game company in Thailand, where she was responsible for coordination between Thai and Chinese development staff and Thai-Chinese translation.

Ms. Tantulawat received a BA with a Business Chinese major from the School of Liberal Arts, Mae Fah Luang University, in 2012.

Janejira Phornprapha is the President of Third500 (Thailand) Limited, where she manages the Bangkok office and supervises the activities of all the analysts. Manisara Tantulawat is an Office Manager at Third500 (Thailand).
